Good  (Holy)  Bishops

The term "Good" as used above refers to the relative, the comparative.
When used by Jesus in the Gospels GOOD was used in the Absolute sense.

"There is only One who is good."  [Matthew 19:17]

In reality the title should use the term "better" rather than "good,"
as outspoken bishops who use bold words of faith often fail to match
their words with action that are not meant for self-aggrandizement.

This "Good Bishops" web page is intended to acknowledge bishops who are considered worthy based upon their taking effective action relating to discipline of clergy, religious, or laity.  This could include but is not be limited to his removing them from office, terminating benefices, excommunication, or applying other notable disciplinary actions.
These bishops are not seen as having the hypocrisy of the high priests, scribes, and pharisees of Jesus' time.  As non-popularity seekers they are notable for being outspoken concerning God's teachings as found in Sacred Scripture and the valid teachings of the Catholic Church.  They do not fear publicly admonishing those who do wrong.  They act in accord with the principles of truth and justice while willing to grant mercy to repentant sinners to the degree and in a manner acceptable to God.

Anyone who has verifiable information relating to Good (worthy - holy - moral) Bishops –those who have taken some sort of meaningful action against unholy priests, religious, or laity– are encouraged to be a part of this effort at identifying worthy leaders of the Catholic Church to be seen as examples for others to follow.  NOTE:  if successful –and this can only happen with numerous participants– this could help lead toward the reunification of Christianity.  With trusting belief in God based upon His truths much can be accomplished.
Send documented E-mails, with attachments –photos, news clippings, etc.– to Editor.  Be sure to include information that verifies your statement.  News articles, eye witness testimonies, or other documentation must be included along with traceable identification of the person submitting the information.  An individuals confidence will be respected.

Visitors are also asked to participate by furnishing information that disqualifies a listed bishop or major superior for being listed on this web site. If a major defect is presented that warrants their removal they may instead be placed on the badbishops.com web site.  Meaningful input is appreciated.  Input must be documented with traceable identification of submitter being furnished.  Submitter's name and personal information will be withheld if requested.

An unpopular position not considered "Politically Correct."

Pope John Paul II's Vatican theologians have been equally divided on the unpopular position. But Archbishop Oscar Lipscomb, a protector of pedophiles who still receive archdiocesan financial support — in addition to costs associated with their grave immoral activities, has taken away income from one who has not opposed any defined Catholic Church teaching.
